Trade Surveillance Analyst
About The Position
Job Summary
The Trade Surveillance Analyst is responsible for monitoring and analyzing trading activities to detect and prevent market abuse, insider trading, and other regulatory violations. This role involves leveraging surveillance systems, data analysis tools, and industry knowledge to identify suspicious patterns and behaviors.
Functional Role and Responsibilities:
- In this role you will be responsible for functioning within a development team.
- Responsibilities include:
- Day to day involvement in the development team to review and understand the FSD, write TSD and LLD documents.
- Perform development in Python to match business requirements
- Perform development within Trade Surveillance domain,
- document release installation instructions,
- perform unit testing,
- work with business analysts to execute the SIT testing and document the results.
- Our teams work together with other technical and functional areas to ensure proper execution of processes.
- Key to your success will be your desire to learn and grow in the role as a team player and take direction and guidance from the team lead and other senior team members.
- Qualifications & Required Skills:
- Trade Surveillance solutions implementation or development experience in a cohesive environment comprising and experience required on:
- Oracle or MS-SQL Database
- Actimize AIS, RCM, and Trade Surveillance solutions experience
- SMARTS Trade Surveillance solutions experience
- Actimize ERCM for alerts ingestion and integration development experience
- Development experience in Python
- Development experience in ETL Informatica
- Domain knowledge of Trade Surveillance and in general compliance knowledge
- Hands on experience on writing exceptional and complex SQL queries and procedures
- Hands on experience on using tools like JIRA, HP QC ALM etc.
- Ability and experience of working in Scrum agile methodology
- Experience to work with the teams on global presence
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Should be able to work independently to result high quality deliverables, covering both functional and non functional requirements
- Perform unit testing and peer review of the code
- Write and deliver release installation instructions, technical specifications document, low level design documents
- Work with internal teams and client resources to be able to assist in release migrations
